Just wondering....

"You are one of the guys..." was just wondering exactly that it means.

Are saying I talk and behave like a guy?( in the nicest way possible... eeooow!)

or do you mean that I have lost my curves, and worse still my sexual appeal?

Does that mean you can bum off my ciggies like forever and ask me to buy you a drink like all the time?

wait a minite... this a punishment for not inflating or stroking your ego, right?

Am I off the hook then? can I keep deflating your ego then?

Does that mean I need to polish my 'pimping' services (just for you), seeing that I am closest to the female species among the 'guys'?

Actually the more I think about it... eeeh I am flattered (should I be?) but, I really dont want to be one of the guys...

ps
it was a rant of sorts

Guys has become a general term. I hear girls call their girl friends guys all the time.

I have never seen you so prolly they word just takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to you.I am just saying.

Happens to me all the time. ALL the time. It's kinda cool sometimes because that means I've always got a posse to see me through the hairy situations. But when one of the guys gets bleary-eyed and starts finding me attractive it feels kinda.. gay. Very disconcerting. I'm just saying.

Oh, and you ask: "can I keep deflating your ego then?"
Hell yeah. If he gets upset, slap him on the back and tell him to stop acting like a babe. After all, we're all just guys here, right?

Wonder what it would feel like if chicks decided to fall on a guy and say he's one of the girls.

You guys should try it on someone. >:-D

@ baz... they do that, means you are harmless... almost asexual; i can talk about tampon sizes, my boyfriend's performance, you would be my last minute date for impromptu parties.

I agree with Savage being "one of the guys" is just a general way of saying you are part of the group. But if we are to go by the "Ladder theory" (http://www.laddertheory.com), Made famous by Savage, then being considered a regular friend just like any of the guys would warrant you to start worrying about your sex appeal.

Does that mean that you have actually told a man that he is one of the girls before? That is cruel!

if you put it that way,... no.

it is a bad idea?... is it worse than "let's just be friends" ?

"Let's just be friends" is the lamest and most generic way of getting cock-blocked.

People need to come up with innovative ways of saying "I will never sleep with you in this lifetime, you pathetic li'l wussy."

Um, Baz, I've told someone he was one of the girls. Is that so wrong? (Ok, so he turned around a got a boyfriend, but that's besides the point.)
